Grading Pattern: CHON JI – 19 Moves
| CHON JI Interpretation |
| Chon Ji means literally “Heaven and Earth”. It is interpreted in the Orient as the creation of the world or the beginning of human history. Therefore it is the initial pattern played by the beginner. It consists of two similar parts, one to represent the heaven and the other to represent the earth. |
| YELLOW BELT Meaning |
| Signifies the earth from which the plant sprouts and takes root, as the Tae Kwon Do foundation is being laid. |
