Our clubs had a  successful day at the English Championships in Worcester on Sunday 13 March. Congratulations to everyone who took part, you all performed really well and made me very proud!

We did pick up a few medals:

Vicky Jones – gold in ladies black belt lightweight sparring and bronze in tag team
Luke Metcalf – silver in men’s black belt welterweight sparring
Kris Smith – gold in cadet boys yellow/green belt middleweight sparring and gold in tag team
Hue Duong – gold in men’s tellow belt welterweight sparring. Hue also just missed out on a medal in patterns after a play off for 3rd place
Daniel Hyland – silver in boys blue/red belt heavyweight sparring, gold in tag team
Harry Miles – gold in tag team

Time to start thinking about the World Championships in July…
